Coffee machine's name is Master. I am Servant! Obvs! LOL.

I love how much Vancouver is your home. I feel the same. I've lived elsewhere, but I could never leave permanently. I never even realized how much it is a part of me until I left. I never used to notice the mountains, until I came back. They would make me cry, driving down Cambie, back home.

That's so cool your parents are still in your family home. It sounds lovely. Is your room still as it was? Mine is! My records and Hello Kitty stationery are still in my room. One day I will have to move them into my house. My husband will not be thrilled. Haha!

Those mountains must have some spiritual, emotional gravity over us. They are quite special.

You have the coolest house! I dream of having an sleek, modern home one day.

When I moved out, my bedroom was converted into a guest bedroom almost immediately. I left home pretty early, and my folks were like, "Love you, bye! Come back if you need to, but we're updating your room right away." I wrecked the walls with my music posters and magazine tear outs. 😄

Ohhh the walls covered with posters. Same! Do kids even do that anymore? Do music magazines still exist alongside the digital world? Sometimes I feel sad about our less tactile world.

Sofia Coppola is my favorite director! I love the dreamy atmosphere of her movies and how music plays such an important part. She's not afraid to linger over quiet moments as well.

She's so great! Lost in Translation is a favourite of mine too (also excellent soundtrack, those Kevin Shields songs are 10/10)
