This is great, Shannon. I'm thoroughly enjoying this series and I fully intend to go back through it in a more orderly fashion. I'd wondered how old you were because you're clearly "of my generation" (I'm 45) and so much of your experience resonates with mine, but I also love the authenticity that saturates every word of your account. Your artistic output and professional image are so polished that you don't get a glimpse of the growing pains and the real work behind the process—the journey that got you to where you are. One could easily think you were "born that way" and "too cool for school" if you weren't honest enough to show us otherwise, and that candid bit is by far the most endearing.
P. S. What music have you been impressed by so far this year?
Perfect wrap up for this series - thanks for being such an inspirational badass!
The best way to mark a new stage of creative blooming is to get a tattoo from you! I think I need another one!
Let's do it! 🙂
I am going to send you some ideas to see what you create!
So inspiring for all those afraid to take the first step towards fulfilling their dreams!
I'm 10 years older than you, and I've yet to bloom, so you're waaaaay ahead of the game in my book!

Really great post! You're a real inspiration and I hope you keep killing it. It will never know what hit it.
Good stuff, thanks! I especially appreciate the age part, lol. Come back to Austin!
